Exporting a language pack
To turn an installed language on or off:
1. Go to Back Office >> Tools >> Languages

2. In the Enabled column, click x to activaye or the tick to deactivate a language. When you activate a language, the flag will automatically appear or dissappear in your FrontOffice (Header - Defaulot install). Its as simple as that.
To install a new language pack to your Prestashop store, first vist the Prestashop Downloads page and find the language you want. Download the file (.gzip). After you have downloaded a PrestaShop language, you can easily import it into PrestaShop. First, you must create the new language:
1. Go to Back Office >> Tools >> Languages >> Add new
2. Complete the information and click Save.
Then, you import the language .gzip language pack :
1. Go to Back Office >> Tools >> Translations >> Translation exchange >> Import a language pack
2. Click Browse to locate the .gzip file on your hard drive.
3. Click Import.
Once you’ve completed your translations, please share your hard work with the rest of the PrestaShop Community by exporting your translation files.
To export a language translation:
1. Go to Back Office >> Tools >> Translations >> Export a language
2. In the drop-down list, select the language to be exported.
3. Click Export.
4. Post the resulting .gzip file in the Translations folder on our Forum and/or send it to us via e-mail.

Tip: if you ever get missing text boxes when entering data into the backoffice forms and pages and you only see a flag, but no text input box, check you have not disabled your language file for the language you are using.
