For each user (employee) that you create in Prestshop, you can create a profile that each user will belong to. Prestashop , when installed the first time, will set up your first admin user with the profile "Administrator", which is the maximum rights possible.
Typically, if you have employees that will access your prestsshop admin (backoffice) you will likley want to limit what they can do. To setup this capability, we create profiles and then permissions. Each permission rules are allocated to a profile, which itself is allocated to an employee when you set this up.
Backoffice>>tools>>Profiles
The main profiles page will list all the profiles you have set-up. You can click the paper/pencil icon to edit the profile name or the x to delete. I recomemd that you do not delete or attempt to delete a profile that is allocated to premissions and employees -first make the required changes

1. Click the "Add new"
2, Enter the name you want for the profile (e.g editor)
3. Press Save
Note: If you have more than one language installed, before pressing the save button, click the flag, enter the revised text for that language (and the same for any others) then press save.
