This Administrators (back office) guide is being developed from 1st January 2009 using my own experiences with Prestashop, information provided by other Prestashop users and also includes some information taken from the main Prestashop website Wiki. No warranties or guarantees are provided as the the complete accuracy of any suggestions. Always do your own trails on a copy of your Prestashop shop, not your live site.
If you are experienced with Prestashop and you read anything on this site that you feel is incorrect or would benefit from additional information please let me know.
There is no ability to post to this site. This is because I do not have the resources to answer questions, but you can make posts to the Prestashop forum.
The Goal is to have the Prestashop administrators guide completed within 12 weeks from the start date. Thus this section should be completed by end of May 2009.
The Adminstrators Guide navigation is largely based on the default BackOffice tabs order that ships with Prestashop 1.1. However, due to the flexibility of Prestashop, it is possible to change the menu tabs for each and every installation. Therefore, be aware that your installation may not follow the same structure. (Ealier versions will also have a different structure, for example the employees section was previoulsy in the tools menu).

Current Prestashop Release version: 1.1 (Dec 08)
PrestaShop is currently at release 1.1 and for such a new product I was surpised by the about of standard functionality.
